Meet the Team

  • Jennifer Carton

    ADVANCED PRACTICE REGISTERED NURSE (APRN)

    Jennifer is originally from Waterloo, Iowa, however, her family moved to Mesa, Arizona when she was a teenager. She is the mother of two wonderful boys and lives with her husband, Dale Carton, in Sherrard, Illinois.

    As a registered nurse, Jennifer worked in pulmonary, hospice, ambulatory surgery, and surgical recovery. In 2014, Jennifer earned her Masters and then Doctorate in Nursing in 2018 from Walden University. Her experience includes family and women’s health. Her love for helping pre-, peri-, and post-menopausal women grew after being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and undergoing a partial hysterectomy in 2019.

    Jennifer ‘s hobbies include shopping, decorating, boating, spending time with family and friends, and sitting on her deck overlooking Fyre Lake while enjoying peace and quiet.

    Jennifer’s passion is helping families reach optimum health through achieving balance in their lives. Health encompasses many dimensions that are interdependent. Whether it is physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, vocational, financial, and/or environmental health, they are all critical to one’s quality of life. In partnering with my patients,I aim to listen and attend to ALL their healthcare needs.

  • Darcy Jennings

    REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

    Darcy has lived in the North Scott community all her life. She is married to her husband Chris and together they have two adult children Haley and Austin. Darcy has over 32 years of experience in nursing. Those years include time in the Cardiac Unit, Operating room, Recovery unit, and Outpatient surgery. Darcy has managed 40 plus staff and 6 operating rooms (ORs) as manager in outpatient surgery.

    Darcy holds an Associate’s degree in nursing and certifications in basic cardiac life support, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support and OR nursing. She has held roles as Educator, Pharmacy Committee, Human Resources, and IV instructor. Professional accomplishments include being nominated as healthcare hero by Image First.

    In her free time, she enjoys volunteering, helping others, decorating her home, rescuing dogs and spending time with family, friends and spoiling her grandson Lars.

    As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients, their families, and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

  • Cristina Berrios

    MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA)

    With over 20 years of experience, Cristina brings a wealth of knowledge, care, and dedication to our team.

    Prior to going us, she worked alongside Jen for six years at the health department. She is thrilled to be reunited and collaborating once again.

    Cristina is a proud mom of two wonderful children— a son and daughter—who keep her on her toes and bring immense joy to her life. Lately, she and her daughter have developed a love for reading and enjoy biweekly trips to the library to discover new books together.

    Outside of work, Cristina enjoys cooking and finds joy in preparing meals that bring her family together.

    We’re so lucky to have Cristina’s warmth, experience, and positive energy on our team!

  • Tracy Garcia

    BILLING AND INSURANCE COORDINATOR

    Tracy brings over 32 years of experience in the medical field. She holds a CNA certificate, a Medical Assisting diploma, and an Associate’s degree in Health Information Management and Technology.

    Her extensive background gives her a unique perspective that bridges both clinical care and the complex world of healthcare administration.

    She’s a natural leader with a calm, solution-focused approach and is often the go-to person for our team when navigating insurance questions or billing concerns.

    Outside of work, Tracy cherishes time with her family and friends. One of her favorite traditions is going to the drag strip to watch her dad race - a beloved activity that she shares with her loved ones. She’s also a proud mom of two wonderful children who continue to inspire her everyday.

  • Berenice Boyer

    MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

    Bere is the friendly voice behind the scenes. With a background in managing multiple teams, she brings a strong leadership foundation and a passion for service to her role.

    In addition to supporting her patients, Bere is also a proud entrepreneur—she owns two businesses that serve the Quad Cities and actively give back to the foster care community. Her commitment to making a difference extends beyond her work, both professionally and personally.

    Outside of work, Bere stays busy homeschooling her daughters, dancing in the kitchen, or exploring something new to learn.

    While you may not catch her smiling face in the office—since she works remotely—you’ll definitely feel her warmth, energy, and dedication every time you speak with her on the phone. We’re grateful to have Bere’s heart, hustle, and positivity as part of our team!
